Frequently Asked Questions

What is Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing?

DTF printing is a process that transfers a full-color design onto a special film. This film is then coated with an adhesive powder and heat-pressed onto a garment, creating a soft, durable, and vibrant print.

What are the benefits of DTF transfers over other methods?

DTF transfers offer a number of advantages. They can be applied to almost any fabric type, including cotton, polyester, and blends, regardless of the fabric's color. The prints are incredibly durable, stretchy, and have a soft feel, unlike vinyl.

What is a "gang sheet"?

A gang sheet is a single, large sheet that contains multiple of your designs. This allows you to fit as many different images or logos as possible onto one transfer, which is the most cost-effective way to order.

What file format do you accept for uploads?

We highly recommend uploading your designs as transparent PNG files with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.

What does "transparent background" mean?

It means your design file should not have a background color. If you upload a file with a white or colored background, that background will be printed as part of your design.

Can I use a regular iron to apply these transfers?

No. A commercial-grade heat press is required for proper application. An iron won't provide the consistent, even pressure and temperature needed to properly bond the transfer to the fabric

Will the print crack, peel, or fade over time?

When applied correctly and cared for properly, our transfers are designed to be extremely durable. They are resistant to cracking and peeling and can outlast the garment itself.
